About

Making a change one step at a time.

Welcome to diary of a medic!

As a family practitioner (or general practitioner, as we say in the UK), I see thousands of patients every year and deal with a wide range of health conditions on a daily basis. Over time, I realised that many of the illnesses I encounter could be prevented through better education, healthier lifestyles, regular exercise, and balanced diets.

I created Diary of a Medic to share my experiences and insights in a way that is clear, practical, and accessible. My goal is to empower people to take charge of their health and reduce the risk of preventable diseases. By translating my day-to-day medical knowledge into easy-to-understand advice, I hope to reach a wider audience, educate the public, and inspire healthier living.

Ultimately, if I can help even a few people make positive changes and avoid preventable illnesses, then this platform will have achieved its purpose.
